Function:
United Mission to Nepal,UMN, is an interdenominational organization that exists to serve the poor and marginalized in the name and spirit of Christ. The finance advisor will work alongside our Nepali professionals to ensure that sound financial practices are implemented to properly manage the funds entrusted to us. This position is Kathmandu-based and will require regular trips to UMN working areas.

Term: Minimum three years

Language: English, Nepali (language training provided on location)

Qualifications:
A strong financial background, preferably with accountancy, is required, and experience in the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.

Master's level or equivalent and usually considerable relevant work experience; ability to contextualize theory and practice; demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to motivate others; willingness and physical stamina to travel to remote areas of Nepal.​
