Iglesia Cristiana Menonita de Colombia (IMCOL) developed a strategic plan for 2020-2025 that focuses on forming Anabaptist identity, developing churches as solid and sustainable faith communities, building trust, and strengthening organizational and institutional capacity. Their seminary (Seminario Bíblico Menonita de Colombia --SBMC) has a key role in meeting these goals. While most professors live in Colombia, the seminary and church also appreciate visiting professors who come for an intensive course or series of workshops. The Anabaptist churches of the Andean region are increasingly seeking ways to collaborate for theological education, which can include both travel and on-line courses. Travel is generally self-funded, often with support from home churches. Occasionally, there may be grant possibilities. Courses and workshops need to be planned ahead to fit schedules and priorities.
