Nestled in the Andes Mountains near Cachipay, about 50 miles from Bogotá, the Iglesia Cristiana Menonita de Colombia is seeking volunteers to help at their Finca CREER (Center for Retreats and Meetings El Recreo). Work includes all manner of upkeep on the 12.5-acre campground: painting, gardening, carpentry and construction, cooking, sewing, plumbing and electrical work. Enough Spanish to understand instructions is important. Costs for food and lodging at the retreat center will be around $210 per person per month.
