Volunteers in Montreal can participate in service opportunities organized by Mennonite Central Committee Canada staff. Volunteers in Montreal can participate in preparing or serving food, sorting donations, supporting after-school ministries, teaching language classes, visiting seniors, cleaning or painting different community centers or assisted living agencies. Having some fluency of the French language is a necessity. Montreal is a foot friendly city, so bring a pair of good walking shoes.
