Lakewood Retreat is a Mennonite Church camp and retreat center located in west central Florida. Volunteers help with maintenance, gardening, housekeeping, and various improvement projects.

Lodging and meals: You will be expected to provide your own housing (RV/camper/or other). RV hook-ups are available on camp grounds at no charge to SOOP workers. When the kitchen is open for groups, volunteers are invited to get food in the dining hall at no cost. There will be days that no meals are prepared, and so SOOP workers would be asked to prepare their own meals.
