Spruce Lake Retreat and Wilderness Camp operates year-round programs "pointing people toward Christ" in the picturesque Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. A wide variety of short and longer-term voluntary opportunities exist. There is need for assistance of persons skilled in trades - construction, plumbing, painting, and grounds maintenance. Bookkeeping, accounting and office skills are also in demand. There are also opportunities in food services, lodging, and hospitality in this cozy retreat setting. Lodging: free lodging and meal packages to volunteers, including housing, camping, and/or RV sites and hook-ups, as needed.
