Homeless Family Shelter Assistant

Salvation Army McKinnell House -- Anchorage, Alaska

10-month term
Ages 17–20
Service Adventure

The Salvation Army McKinnell House is the only facility in Anchorage providing shelter for homeless two-parent families or single parenting fathers. Work often includes interacting with McKinnell residents in a variety of ways and doing some administrative assistant and basic office duties as assigned by the supervisor. If you enjoy interacting with families and children and are flexible in dealing with new and different responsibilities each day as assigned, this may be an excellent assignment.
