Civil rights learning experience

This tour transports you to a critical time in history where you will come face-to-face with the civil rights struggles of the 1950s and 1960s.

Develop an understanding of the times, the people and the controversy surrounding injustice and inequality.

Learn about the triumphs of unsung heroes who challenged brutal racism, hear the stories of people who lived it, and learn why our faith calls us to stand against injustice and with the oppressed.

Impact your thinking about democracy, civility and humanity going forward.

Each tour is unique. Past tours have included historically significant locations in Alabama and Mississippi, including the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, a Confederate soldiers’ cemetery, Edmund Pettus Bridge and Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
