Civil Rights learning tour

Dates:  July 3-9, 2022 

Costs: $700-$750

On this tour, you will learn about the tragedies and triumphs that occurred during the American civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s, as the nation began to reawaken to the realities of racial injustice. You will visit places of historical significance, hear stories, and learn why our faith calls us to stand against injustice and with the oppressed. This trip will occur in the southern U.S., but we hope you will use what you learn to help explore what happened in your community during this earlier era, as well as the injustices that continue today.

Sur de los Estados Unidos — En esta gira, aprenderás acerca de las tragedias y victorias que
ocurrieron durante el Movimiento por los derechos civiles en Estados Unidos a lo largo de las décadas de 1950 y 1960, cuando la nación despertaba a la realidad de la injusticia racial.
